Spanish Quiz: SER vs ESTAR

The difference between SER y ESTAR is a fundamental one in the Spanish language, and can be a bit tricky to grasp for English speakers (because English only has one verb as the equivalent, TO BE).

This is a great activity for Elementary level students to practise the use of SER for identification (for example to say what something is) and ESTAR for location (to say where something is located).

Students love it because...well, who doesn’t like to see sights from around the world?

There’s also a fun quiz after the presentation.
