Lara has a wonderful understanding of the Spanish language, grammar rules, etc. and a great passion for helping people to learn which shows in the way she seamlessly runs her classes. I learn something new at every lesson and really enjoy our conversations. I have gotten so much benefit from attending class with her, and couldn’t recommend her services more.

Lara is an amazing teaching and I highly recommend a class or lesson with her! I studied Spanish with Lara for a few months and she was the best teacher I have had. She brought fun and connection into the learning process and not just followed a text book. Lara's Spanish accent is also easy to understand, something to consider when studying Spanish as the Argentine accent (or other South/Central American accent) is generally much easier to understand than those native to Spain (who can speak faster and with a different pronunciation). The out of class activities are also fun and I created a number of friendships out of these 🙂 Buena suerte Lara tu eres increíble!

I completed the beginner course in Spanish and absolutely loved it! My teacher was really patient and engaging, always happy to answer my questions and repeat anything that wasn't clear. The small class allowed for heaps of interaction, so everyone had the opportunity to practice and the monthly social catch ups are a great, fun way to put everything into practice....fantástico!!!

Lara is an excellent Spanish teacher. She's very professional, friendly and approachable. She brings a positive energy to classes and creates an environment where students are comfortable to speak Spanish. Her lessons are lots of fun.

I started an intermediate course with Lara's Spanish Hub and I have to say the experience has been very fun and productive. Even with the COVID-19 restrictions in place the subsequent Zoom meetings have been very well conducted. I will be pursuing further spanish courses with Lara. Muchas Gracias!!!

I have taken advanced Spanish classes with Lara and have found her to be an excellent teacher who speaks with a clear and easy to understand accent. Not only does she know her stuff about Spanish grammar and how to explain it well, she is also the loveliest person you'll meet and is super easy to talk to. Lara is extremely patient and will never make you feel silly or uncomfortable but she will still make sure she provides corrections where required to ensure that your Spanish is improving. I would recommend Lara's classes to anyone keen to learn Spanish.

My son (and I) have attended the Spanish playgroup sessions last term and it was wonderful. The classes were loads of fun, with stories, singing, dancing and craft. Lara was incredibly entertaining, engaging and patient with the children and my son really looked forward to attending each week. Importantly, he was learning Spanish while having fun with friends and doing activities that he enjoys.

Lara is an amazing teacher! She's very knowledgeable, organised and approachable. We get to practice speaking and grammar in every lesson. We also get tailored feedback in each session. There's plenty of different levels too, which is great!

Lara is a fantastic teacher who engages with everyone and makes each class fun. The classes are small which I love and the games make it easy to practice speaking Spanish without feeling self conscious. The out of class meet ups are great and another way to practice. I would highly recommend Lara and her classes and look forward to continuing my learning with her.

Lara was absolutely amazing! I was astounded at how quickly my 3 year old picked up words, and it was delivered in such a fun manner with her trusty side-kicks Pepe and Juana the dinosaurs, (Hola Pepe!). Lara is warm, encouraging and incredibly creative. She embraced the different learning styles using music, dance, drawing, fun games and activities to embed the language whilst ensuring that every child was engaged. Us mums also picked up the different words and then we had little activities to take home to continue to practice together. It was a wonderful holistic approach, and I’m not sure who had more fun – us or the kids!

I have been a student of Lara’s for about 18 months, having started in her Beginner 1 class. She is a gifted language teacher who relates well to students of all ages (I imagine I would be one of her oldest pupils) and has a teaching style which is at once relaxed and informal yet informative and effective. Her knowledge of the Spanish language, in all of its regional variations, is formidable. I would unhesitatingly recommend Lara’s classes to anyone wishing to learn or improve their Spanish, at whatever entry level.

I love my Spanish lessons with Lara, she is a great teacher. Always patient, kind and enthusiastic. We are always learning in different ways so classes are never boring. The best thing is that I never feel silly making mistakes and as such have made great progress. Thoroughly recommended!

Highly Recommend! Lara is an amazing teacher, with methods of teaching which will make it fun to learn Spanish. The intimacy of the classes means you are able to engage well with Lara and other students. Definitely continuing on to high levels of learning with Lara.

I have been doing private lessons with Lara for over a month now and have found them to be super helpful as well as being fun. She teaches grammar, vocabulary etc really well but also focuses a lot on having actual conversations which, for me, is the most important aspect of learning a new language. And on top of that she is a really cool person, would definitely recommend!
